Blossom FAQs
Blossom is thoughtfully tailored for menstruating individuals aged 8 to 18. Each workshop or programme is age-appropriate and created to support the developmental stage, needs, and wellbeing of your specific group, whether that’s a primary school class, a group of teens, or a parent-child retreat.
Yes. Blossom is highly adaptable. While the core focus is on younger menstruators, we also deliver bespoke workshops for third-level students and young adults. These can include mindfulness practices such as breathwork, deeper cyclical living content, and body literacy themes relevant to university-age learners.
Blossom is designed to be delivered in small-group settings to support a safe, open, and nurturing space for participants. However, we understand the realities of school logistics and can work with you to tailor a solution for larger groups. Whether that means multiple sessions, a modified format, or additional facilitation support. Get in touch to explore your options.
Blossom centres the experiences of menstruating individuals and uses anatomically accurate, female-specific language in its core content. However, every workshop is delivered with respect and inclusivity in mind. Our intention is always to educate with care, honouring the diversity of identities and experiences within each setting. We’re happy to work with your students and staff to ensure delivery is appropriate for your audience.
Blossom is designed to enrich and complement existing wellbeing frameworks. The content supports curriculum goals in SPHE and RSE by building self-awareness, emotional resilience, confidence, and an understanding of hormonal health. We also explore the connection between nutrition, self-care, and menstrual wellbeing, fostering a more holistic approach to puberty and health education. Blossom has been designed and curated by Colette who has worked within the education sector for almost two decades and so she brings with her a wealth of knowledge, understanding and in-depth research.
Absolutely. Blossom can be delivered as a talk, mini workshop, or full session to sports teams and youth organisations. We recognise that many young athletes disengage from sport when menstruation begins, and this programme is a valuable tool to help change that, building confidence, breaking stigma, and supporting body awareness in sport. To build a talk or workshop suitable for your club or team, get in touch and we will plan a bespoke visit especially for you.
Yes. While Blossom was originally designed for schools and youth, it can be adapted to suit workplaces, adult education settings, and wellness weeks.
