Conscious Connected Breathwork

What is Breathwork?

You breathe everyday right? But, have you ever really tapped into how powerful your breath really is? and, understood or experienced the gifts it holds?

Breathwork is an active form of meditation that allows you to deepen your connection to every aspect of your being – Mind/Body/Spirit. When we work with the breath, we have the power to tap into our own innate healing wisdom.

What technique will we use?

The 3-part Conscious Connected Breathing technique is a self-healing technique that allows us to access the full potential of our breathing system for better:

  • Mental and emotional well-being,

  • Physical wellbeing and

  • Higher awareness.

The connected pattern of conscious breathing is a natural, safe, and easy–to-learn technique. As human beings, we hold onto tension within our bodies, and in doing so, we create physical, mental, and emotional blockages. This technique helps to release the blockages and transform your life and energy.

Tapping into this space, we enable ourselves to interrupt autonomic nervous system patterns, and in doing so, we gift ourselves the ability to release stored tension and trauma, and release what isn't serving us. Conscious connected breathing, gifts us and teaches us how to work through stress, fears, stored trauma and emotional wounds somatically. It gifts us a release in so many ways. We create space within the mind and body to heal.

What to expect during a breathwork journey

Every journey will differ, some breathwork journeys can be deeply meditative and calm, whilst others may be physically intense with deep release.

What might this look like?

  • Physically - Tetany Light headedness, dry mouth, Hot or cold body temperature, Nausea, Deep emotion such as grief, sadness, anger.

  • Emotionally - Sadness released through tears, laughter.

  • Mentally - racing thoughts with the monkey mind tapping in and restricting you from reaching that sweet spot.

  • Spiritually - you may feel connected to a higher source, a deeper connection to your soul.

Structure of breathwork journey:

Each session lasts 1.5 hours. We begin by creating a safe space, dropping in and setting our intentions. You will be guided through a welcoming meditation and safely guided through 30 minutes of active breath. Before we begin, permission will be sought for hands on healing as you journey with your breath, and as needs be. We then slow the breath back down and drop back into a beautiful 10-15 minute guided meditation, allowing you to begin to integrate the process you’ve just been through. You will be slowly welcomed back into your body and into the room for a share circle, (only if you feel comfortable).
