What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.
How Long does a Healing Session Last?
The healing session lasts for one hour. It begins with a quick consultation followed by the energy healing and finishes with a review of the treatment.
How are the Healing Sessions Conducted?
The client lies fully clothed upon a blanketed plinth with another blanket over them. Colette places her hands a few inches above the client's body so that she can channel the healing energy though to the person's energy field. As the healing is integrated by the client on a subconscious level, they are free to just close their eyes and enjoy the calming experience
